Innovative Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo art exhibits to conclude San Francisco runs

The “Immersive” art exhibits at Lighthouse ArtSpace San Francisco at SVN West have allowed Bay Area art lovers to experience and engage in the works of Vincent Van Gogh and Frida Kahlo in an innovative way.

As their titles imply, Immersive Van Gogh and Immersive Frida Kahlo give audiences the chance to “step into” the famous, iconic paintings by the beloved artists. The images move and come to life on the walls of the venue, accompanied by thoughtfully choreographed music that help push Van Gogh and Kahlo’s unique visions forward.

But Four Seasons residents, as well as other San Franciscans, have limited time to enjoy the exhibits as Lighhouse Immersive, North America’s leading producer of groundbreaking experiential exhibits, have announced that they must conclude by May 30.

“Despite the challenges of the past two years, we are extremely grateful for the enthusiasm and support we have received in the San Francisco Bay Area,” Lighthouse Immersive co-producer Corey Ross said. “As one of the first cultural experiences to open in the Bay Area in early 2021, we have welcomed hundreds of thousands of guests to experience these two renowned artists in a new way. We look forward to returning in the near future with a brand-new experience.”

Immersive Van Gogh features the Dutch post-Impressionist’s highly emotional and colorful paintings, including Self Portrait with Felt Hat (1888), The Bedroom in Arles (1889), Irises (1889) and The Starry Night (1889).

Twentieth-century Mexican artist Kahlo’s compelling self-portraits and radiant pieces shine in Immersive Frida Kahlo. The Two Fridas (1939), The Wounded Deer (1946) and Diego and I (1946) are among the works featured.

Creative director and Italian film producer Massimiliano Siccardi designed the exhibits, and multimedia composer Luca Longobardi composed the mood-setting scores. Vittorio Guidotti served as art director.
